Terms of Service

1. Who PlushBase is for

PlushBase is a cozy home for plushie collectors aged 18 and over. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18. If you're under 18, we're sorry, but this space isn't for you yet, and we'll remove accounts we reasonably believe belong to minors. We may ask for age confirmation at any time and suspend accounts that can't confirm they are 18 or over.

2. Your account

You sign in with your Google account. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can stop using PlushBase at any time; to delete your account and its content, email hello@plushbase.com and we'll remove it within 30 days.

3. Your content

Your plushies stay yours. You keep all rights to the photos, names, stories, and scrapbook pages you create. By uploading, you give us the limited license we need to operate the service: hosting, resizing, generating cutouts, and displaying your content back to you, and to others only if you choose to share it. Everything is private by default.

Only upload photos you took or have the right to use. Photos of your own plushies are exactly what PlushBase is for.

4. Sharing

Turning on sharing (for a plushie or your collection) makes that content visible to anyone with the link, including search engines and link previews. You can turn sharing off at any time; cached copies elsewhere may take time to clear.

5. Be kind (acceptable use)

Don't use PlushBase to post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or violent; don't impersonate others; don't scrape, spam, probe, or disrupt the service; don't upload content that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. We'd rather not, so please keep it cozy.

6. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on PlushBase infringes your copyright, email hello@plushbase.com with: (a) the URL of the content, (b) identification of your work, (c) your contact details, (d) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you're authorized to act. We'll take down infringing content promptly and may terminate repeat infringers. Counter-notices go to the same address.

7. The service, warts and all

PlushBase is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it running and to keep your content safe, but we can't promise uninterrupted service or zero bugs, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the greater of $20 or what you've paid us in the past year (currently: nothing, since PlushBase is free).

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product grows; we'll post the new version here and update the date above. Big changes get an in-app heads-up. Continuing to use PlushBase after a change means you accept it.
