What we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your account ID, email address, and name, and we store the handle you choose. We don't take your Google profile picture, your avatar is a plushie photo or an image you upload yourself.

The things you add. Your plushie photos and everything you write about them: names, stories, scrapbook pages, display arrangements.

How the site gets used. Basic first-party statistics that keep PlushBase working and safe, such as which pages and features get used, general device and country information, and which link brought you here. We don't use advertising trackers, we don't track you across other sites, and we never sell your data.

Your photos stay here

Photos you upload are stored by us and served only to you and to anyone you have chosen to share a collection with. Nothing on PlushBase sends your photos to a third-party service. Cutting a plushie out of its background and finding its face both happen from the picture itself, on our own servers or in your own browser.

Who can see your stuff

Private by default. Your collection, plushies, and scrapbook are visible only to you until you explicitly share them. Shared pages show your handle only, never your name, email, or avatar.

Cookies

We use a small number of our own cookies to keep you signed in and to count visits for the statistics above. No advertising cookies and no third-party cookies, ever.

Where data lives & how long

Your content is stored on Cloudflare's network under our own accounts. Delete a plushie and its photos are removed from storage. Delete your account (email hello@plushbase.com) and we remove your content within 30 days, minus anything we must keep for legal reasons.

Your rights

Email hello@plushbase.com to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Wherever you live, we'll honor it.

Age

PlushBase is for adults 18 and over. Plushies are for everyone, but accounts aren't. Keeping the site adults-only lets us run it responsibly and keeps everyone's data handling simple and safe. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn an account belongs to a minor, we'll close it and delete its data. We may ask for age confirmation at any time and suspend accounts that can't confirm they are 18 or over. Think a child has signed up? Please tell us at hello@plushbase.com and we'll take care of it.

Changes

We'll post updates here and refresh the date above. Significant changes get an in-app notice.
